The LesbianGlobal Economic Empowerment Fund at Outright International was created to move resources directly to LBQ+ women whose leadership is already transforming their communities—often under extreme risk and with little support.
This fund is more than a single initiative. It is a model.
Through our partnership with Outright International, an experienced and trusted global intermediary, we ensure that funding reaches LBQ+ leaders and social enterprises across the Global South with accountability, care, and long-term impact. Alongside grants, the fund provides mentorship and organizational support, helping LBQ+ women build sustainable economic pathways that challenge systemic patriarchy, lesbiphobia, and economic exclusion.
But one fund is not enough.
Our vision is to grow this work by establishing more LesbianGlobal Economic Empowerment Funds with additional trusted organizations that can act as intermediaries—expanding reach, deepening impact, and ensuring that LBQ+ women everywhere, especially in the Global South, have access to the resources they need to lead safely and sustainably.
The leadership exists. The solutions exist. What’s missing is scale.
